Terms
Preorders, pickup, and card payment.
Cozy Loaf is a cottage bake stand in Buffalo, Minnesota. These terms cover preorders on cozyloaf.co. Grafted Software builds this website and the order system.
Placing a preorder means these terms apply to that order. Questions go to orders@cozyloaf.co.
We do not publish a street address on this site.
A preorder holds the items you chose for a pickup window. We bake to that order. The price is the total on the review page: quantity times the price when you submit. We do not add a separate tax line.
There is no account and no order history to sign into. On this shop, placing a preorder sends you to pay the quoted total now. There is no way to place that preorder without paying now.
The quoted total is one charge through Stripe Checkout, by card or wallet. You pay that total when you place the preorder. We do not keep a card on file.
You can add an optional tip on the Stripe page, from $1 to $25. The tip is extra. It is not part of the quoted total.
If you leave checkout without paying, we cancel the hold after about 30 minutes. You are not charged. A payment that arrives after that cancel is refunded.
If we add to the order after you pay, a later Stripe Checkout charges only the added amount. It is not a second charge for the whole order.
Pickup is on the date and window on your order, at the Cozy Loaf stand in Buffalo, Minnesota. The window is on the order page and in the recap email.
If we cancel a paid order, we refund what you paid, including a tip, through Stripe. Making the order smaller does not refund by itself.
If you paid and do not pick up, we keep that payment. Email us if something went wrong and we will tell you what we can do.
A special request is a message. It does not reserve food and it does not take payment. If we can bake it, we write back and may turn it into an order. That order then follows these terms.
This is a home bakery. Ingredients and allergens are on the product label when we have one. The kitchen handles more than one recipe, so cross-contact is possible.
If an allergy matters, say so in a special request before you pay.
Baked goods are made to order for pickup from a cottage bakery. To the extent Minnesota law allows, Cozy Loaf and Grafted Software are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including a missed event or lost profit.
If we are liable for an order, that liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order. These terms do not limit any liability the law does not let us limit.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
We can update this page. The date at the bottom is the version you are reading. A later preorder uses the terms posted when you place it.
